The Envirothon is an environmental competition for high school students in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.  It is based on five subject areas: aquatics, forestry, soils, wildlife, and the current issue—which change annually.  The winning team from each county will move on to participate in the New York State Environment (held during the week of May 25th), and each member of the winning team from Nassau County and Suffolk County will receive a scholarship of $500!

This year's current issue is "Waste to Resources"
